Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your hotel in the city. After settling in, take a shikara ride on the iconic Dal Lake — gliding past floating gardens, lotus-filled waterways, and the Zabarwan mountains. Evening bonfire at the hotel with fellow travellers, sharing stories over Kahwa tea and Kashmiri bread.

Hit the road to Sonamarg — the "Meadow of Gold." The 80km drive through the Sind Valley is an adventure in itself, winding past glacial rivers, towering deodar forests, and dramatic mountain passes. Strap on your boots for a trek to the magnificent Thajiwas Glacier — a 3km moderate trail rewarding you with snow fields even in summer. Explore Baltal Valley and the banks of the Sind River before returning to Srinagar.

Drive to Pahalgam through scenic countryside and check into your riverside accommodation by the Lidder River. Afternoon river walk and acclimatisation. Evening at leisure — explore the local market for authentic Kashmiri street food and handicrafts.

The highlight of the trip! Start with a trek to Aru Valley — a pristine alpine meadow at 7,500 feet surrounded by snow-capped peaks and grazing horses. Continue to Betaab Valley for a picnic lunch amidst cinematic landscapes. Afternoon optional activities: white-water rafting on the Lidder River, or a longer trek to Lidderwat. Evening bonfire and group dinner at the camp.

Morning drive back to Srinagar with a stop at the ancient Awantipora ruins — a 9th-century temple complex. Quick shikara ride on Dal Lake before heading to the airport. Depart with trail dust on your boots and adventure in your heart.
